Rochelle Elliot is a New Zealand writer of novels and short stories. She lives in Wellington, with her husband Aidan and her children Isabelle and Ashton. Their household is run by their sturdy cat Buttons (She's not obese - her mother had her tested!).
A sucker for a good love story, Rochelle has developed a passion for creating strong heroines, the kind who accidentally bump into romance while they’re out building an empire or celebrating their promotion!
Rochelle’s short stories have a distinctly New Zealand flavour, and have been read on Radio New Zealand, and published in magazines and newspapers. In 2012, her short story No Returnsies, took first place in the Cambridge Autumn Festival Short Story Competition.
In 2013, with the support and encouragement of her family, friends and community, Rochelle crowd-funded the self-publication of her first novel, Lighthouse Love. She has gone on to write Making Over Mabel (2014) and a selection of novelettes embracing her Kiwi flair.
Rochelle brings together the defining relationships in our lives. Lovers, friends and family coalesce, with a sprinkle of humour, a touch of whimsy and a liberal load of lusty romance!
Her latest Contemporary Romance novel Hidden Agenda will be available in December 2019.
